THE PROCESS
The Washed process at Finca la Primavera involves:
- 🍒 Selective Hand Picking — Only ripe Geisha cherries are selected at harvest
- 🔧 Mechanical Pulping — The outer cherry skin is removed to expose the parchment bean
- 💧 Fermentation — Beans ferment in water to fully remove the mucilage layer
- 💧 Washing — Thorough washing in clean water for exceptional cup clarity
- ☀️ Raised Bed Drying — Dried on elevated beds for even, controlled drying
